Provocations Under the Guise of Free Speech: Who Else Threatens Israel’s Security?

Daily operations by the Israeli army continue in Judea and Samaria. The purpose of these actions is simple: to protect the lives of Jewish civilians from terror. Yet, among Western journalists and media outlets, under the pretext of free speech, provocative materials are being amplified, turning the heroism of soldiers into a tool for discrediting Israel.

Scenes captured on the frontlines are taken out of context, transformed into drama and sensation, while ignoring the main point—the real threat to innocent civilians. When terrorists plan attacks on children, women, and families, who stands guard? Soldiers, who often act instantly, risking their lives.

Footage presented without context misleads audiences, incites hatred, and puts pressure on Israel. This is not journalism. This is provocation, disguised behind elegant words about the “right to information.”

It is particularly regrettable that a small minority within Israel itself also condemns the actions of soldiers. It creates the impression that some parties benefit from weakening the country and questioning the protection of its citizens.

Fellow journalists, it is time to act differently. Follow the example of leading Azerbaijani media, including AJM. Objectivity, honesty, and facts are the true tools of journalism. Expose terror, provide context, and respect those who risk their lives to protect civilians.

The world must know the truth. When Israel defends its citizens, it is not aggression—it is heroism. Every article, every publication can either erode or strengthen the audience’s trust. The choice is yours.
