Meeting on the Evaluation of the Performance of Civil Servants Held at the State Committee

On December 26, a meeting was held at the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations dedicated to the discussion of annual reports on the evaluation of the performance of civil servants, as well as issues related to management in the civil service, including human resource management for officials holding managerial positions.
According to AJMEDIA, the meeting was held within the framework of the Action Plan for the implementation in 2023–2025 of the “Strategy for the Development of Civil Service in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2019–2025,” approved by Decree No. 3696 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated December 30, 2022. The meeting was attended by the Head of the Apparatus of the State Committee, Elshad Miralem, the Advisor to the Chairman, as well as heads of departments and sectors.
During the meeting, issues such as the evaluation of civil servants’ performance, the application of a competency model, increasing accountability, improving human resource management, and enhancing the responsibility of officials in managerial positions were discussed. It was noted that the purpose of these measures implemented in the field of civil service and human resource management is to stimulate the professional development of civil servants, ensure an objective evaluation of their performance, and increase the efficiency of management processes.
At the end of the meeting, proposals were heard, and the instructions and recommendations of the Chairman of the State Committee were communicated to the participants.
